Steele Martin Jones was founded by Mike Steele in 1979 with a simple idea: build a CPA firm that treats clients like people, not account numbers. Gary Martin joined as partner in 1982, and Tom Carson Jones joined in 1994. Together, they built one of Jackson's most respected accounting firms.
Today, the firm is led by partners Tom Carson Jones, Brandon Clenney, Kevin McKenzie, and William Welch. Mike and Gary have retired, but the values they built the firm on — personal service, integrity, and genuine care for our clients — are still at the heart of everything we do.
We're big enough to handle complex tax situations, IRS disputes, and multi-entity business structures. But we're small enough that when you call, someone picks up the phone — and they know who you are. That's not a coincidence. It's how we've chosen to build this firm.
From our headquarters at 100 Stonebridge Blvd in Jackson, and our offices in Trenton and Parsons, we serve individuals, small businesses, farms, and nonprofits across West Tennessee and beyond.
